Plan Your Trip
Planning on Coming to NOLA Navy Week 2015? Here are some helpful tips to make the most of your trip!
General Public Visitation
Each of the visiting ships will be open for General Public Visitation beginning Friday, April 24th and lasting through Tuesday, April 28th. General Public Visitation is first come, first serve – which means that depending on the volume of visitors to a particular ship on a certain day or time, there may be a line. We suggest that you dress comfortable and remember that these are active military ships, so it’s best to wear closed-toe shoes. Visitors over the age of 18 will also need photo ID in order to board.
The individual schedules for certain ships may change on certain days due to events being held on the ships after hours. The schedule is as follows:
- Friday, April 24:
- 12:00 p.m. – 5 p.m. – All Ships Open (Note: the USS Wasp will not open until 2 p.m.)
- Saturday, April 25:
- Sunday, April 26:
- Monday, April 27:
- 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. – HMS Lancaster and HMCS Athabaskan (Thalia Street Wharf), and USS Cole and USS James E Williams (Governor Nicholls Street Wharf)
